Therapists Bios LORI BRETZ graduated from a 1000 hour massage certification in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1981. She received her first of four REIKI levels and has been doing bodywork and REIKI continuously for 25 years. She was certified in ACUPRESSURE in 1995 and took post graduate courses from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley. She also does PRENATAL MASSAGE and BOWEN THERAPY, and enjoys practicing YOGA and TAI CHI and working with HERBS. CAROLINE "LILY" LAW, a graduate of Harbin School of Shiatsu & Massage (1989) offers an integrated-style session tailored to the concerns and preferences of each client. SHIATSU (sustained pressure on Acu points w/stretches), AMMA (Japanese massage), ACUPRESSURE, DEEP TISSUE, REFLEXOLOGY, QUANTUM TOUCH & THAI MASSAGE are all woven together with a Swedish style that is deeply relaxing. Hours: Mon 1-6 pm,Tues 10 am-3 pm, Fri & Sat 10 am-3 pm, Sun 11am-6 pm MISTY ALDERMAN, a graduate of the Healing Arts Institute in Roseville, grew up in Angels Camp, CA and is now in Auburn helping run her aunt's and uncle's care home. She has practiced massage in Sacramento and Costa Rica. She gives a very nurturing relaxing, therapeutic massage, incorporating SWEDISH DEEP TISSUE, LOMI LOMI and AROMATHERAPY. She specializes in working out targeted muscular tension. Hours: Wed 2-8 pm SUZY ZAHROBSKY graduated from Heartwood Institute in 1996 with 900 hours of training in SWEDISH MASSAGE & PRENATAL MASSAGE, REFLEXOLOGY, AURICULAR THERAPY (ear acupressure), and ZEN SHIATSU ACUPRESSURE. She has an additional 120 hours of training in various ASIAN BODYWORK MODALITIES. The essence of her work adopts an Eastern approach of listening to the body's energy. Her work varies from light to deep focused pressure in an integrative and intuitive style. Hours: Fri 4-8 pm, Sun 3-6 pm. BERNADETTE COELHO, a native of Auburn, graduated from the Auburn School of Health and Wellness in 2004. She offers an intuitive touch and works with the physical & emotional needs of clients and includes the following modalities: SWEDISH, DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE, HOT STONE WORK, SENIOR MASSAGE and EAR CANDLING. Hours: Sun 11 am- 5 pm, Thurs 10 am- 4 pm DEBI CHAVEZ graduated from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, Ca. She brings 18 years of intensive bodywork experience to her work. Her predominant style is CORRECTIVE DEEP TISSUE EXTRACTION, and she incorporates ACUPRESSURE, SPORTS MASSAGE and INTUITIVE STYLE. Her philosophy is to locate problems areas, provide relief through muscular education and to restore the body to a state of balance. Hours: Tues 2pm-8pm, Thurs&Friday 10 am- 4pm CYNTHIA ZIMMERMAN, an Auburn native, attended the Healing Arts Institute in Roseville. She has perfected SWEDISH MASSAGE and SOFT TISSUE RELEASE for carpal tunnel, back and shoulder pain. She is also a LEVEL II REIKI practitioner. Hours: Fri 10 –4. On call other days. DEBRA BARBARICK specializes in wellness, relaxation and pain management. Her work draws from the advanced massage modalities of ST. JOHN NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY, MYOFASCIAL MASSAGE, POSITIONAL RELEASE, CRANIAL SACRAL BALANCING and ACUPRESSURE. She utilizes careful postural analysis to create sessions that target her clients needs. Hours: Tues - Wed 4-8 pm, Sat 3-8 pm, Sun 12-6 pm. LAURIE MILLAR, M.S., C.A.S., P.K.S. is a graduate of Michigan State University and was a registered dietitian for over 20 years before making the transition to wholistic medicine and body therapy. She has completed coursework in herbology, sports yoga, ORTHOBIONOMY body work and AYURVEDIC MASSAGE. She holds certificates in PANCHA KARMA BODY THERAPIES and Clinical Ayurveda through the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley. She uses warm oils and herbs on the client while integrating marma point therapy and life impressions body work into a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating massage. Hours: Mon & Thurs 10 am-3 pm, Sat 3-8 pm ASHLEY FRALICK is a graduate from a 700 hour massage program in Maui, Hawaii. She uses healing and intuitive touch in combination with SWEDISH, LOMI LOMI, NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY, DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE, and REFLEXOLOGY to ground and relax her clients. She is also certified in REIKI 1st degree. Hours: Mon 2pm-8pm; Thu 3pm-8pm; Sat 10am-3pm; Sun 11am-5pm JESSA KISSOVICH recently moved from Lake Tahoe to enroll her son in a Waldorf School. She has completed 750 hours of training, is Nationally Certified, and has worked full time for several years doing SWEDISH DEEP TISSUE, MYOFASCIAL TRIGGER POINT WORK, ACUPRESSURE, PRENATAL MASSAGE, and EAR CANDLING. Hours: Mon 10am-3pm. STACEY JOY McCULLOCH practices DEEP SWEDISH MASSAGE and incorporates ACUPRESSURE and SHIATSU to compliment her work. Blending these styles, she specializes in full relaxation, helping the body balance and heal to it’s natural state. She is a graduate of the Massage Institute of Davis and is also certified in ASIAN FOOT MASSAGE and REIKI. Hours: Wed 2pm-8pm. JOY CURRY (owner) is beginning her 18th year at Pathways. She serves as Pathways Therapist Resource Director, and she can be thanked for selecting the many wonderful therapists at Pathways. Her oil paintings and intuitive art can be seen at Pathways JOEL CURRY (owner) combines his experience as a trained social worker with his 30 year study of natural health. He continues to do BOWEN THERAPY, ACUPRESSURE and MASSAGE. Hours: Tues 11-5 pm., Wed 2-8 pm HOLLY SLAATS graduated from Northwestern College and is certified in DEEP TISSUE SWEDISH, SHIATSU, PRENATAL, and TRIGGER POINT THERAPY.
